Payment by mail
All members (except employer group plan members) may pay by mail. Remember to include your member ID number with your payment.

Grace period and overpayment

A grace period is an extension of when your premium is due, during which claims will be paid as usual for the first month.

Health Tradition may pend claims for services received in the second and third months of the grace period. A pending claim is one which has been submitted but is conditional for reasons including incorrect or incomplete information provided, verification required or nonpayment of premium. Pending claims may ultimately be denied depending on whether requirements have been met.

If you are receiving reduced premium through the APTC tax credit and have paid at least one premium during the current benefit year, you are entitled to a grace period of 90 days.
